Using the case of Gisèle Pelicot, the

ordinary identity of sex offenders is brought

to light. Based on research by the British

newspaper The Guardian, I photograph

locations in her village and surroundings,

which are accompanied by texts about the

perpetrators. These are places where

the perpetrators lived, worked and plotted

the unimaginable. Places where every-

day life and the unfathomable collide.
